Fundo Chincheros Lodge

After travelling in Peru for a month, this stay was our last stop before heading to Bolivia. We didn't fancy the crowds of Puno so had made a reservation here at Fundo Chincheros lodge. I can say that this was by far the best stay we had in the whole of Peru. The great atmosphere that is here thanks to Zéze and all the people who work here on the property. You pay for accommodation but get so much in return. A paradise on earth that we never left during our stay. From the food to learning to ride horses everything was great. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

I am travelling South America by motorcycle and stopped off here for the night. What a special place. Such lovely hosts. Wonderful food. Super experience. I was hoping for a quiet night between Cusco and Tacna and ended up with one of my most memorable days in Peru 😊

Small place of heaven not far from Puno. Zezé and his brother were amazing hosts, making sure we enjoy our stay. We hugely recommend the horseback riding experience!

This old farm has a very interesting story, that was explained to us by Zéze, the son of the family who bought It. The cottage we stayed in is still equipped with original furniture and pictures, which was very nice. We stayed more than an hour in the field with the alpacas , and on the day after we went on a horse ride with Elmer, who takes really good care of all the animals. If you're an early bird, Elmer will welcome you in the stable in the morning and show you how to milk the cows. José and Zézé both have been really helpful throughout our stay at the farm, and they gave us lots of information. The overall cost of our stay is a bit expensive for Peru, but we find the experience worth it.
