Taawaki Inn - Cottonwood

The hotel is under interior and exterior construction adding a bar, swimming pool, spa, patio fire pit, etc. They were constantly cleaning the lobby to keep it free of dust. The dining room and staff are excellent. Pleasant, friendly and helpful. With all the construction, the staff was one of the highlights of the visit. The room we had must have been one of the better rooms as it was large. We had 2 king size beds which were very comfortable. I always bring my own pillow so cannot rate the pillows, however I brought one back to the front desk and told them to take it out of circulation as the foam inside was all broken up - not sure how that happened, but that type of thing should have been taken out of circulation by the cleaning staff. The location which is away from the main part of town is very quiet as night which I appreciate. However that location means you need a car to drive to a convenience store as the hotel does not have a small convenience store on site. They are adding a pool - smaller in size, but a pool and spa plus outdoor lounging area which will move this hotel from an overnight stay to hopefully a destination place. The views of the Sedona mountain area are beautiful and to the east, so the sunrises are stunning. They have double shades on the windows - and the one we could see out of - no one could see in -- as we tested ourselves to rate the privacy.

Super clean…great staff… very nice breakfast buffet!

Welcoming with beautiful artwork and view. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was included and good variety.

Decor was perfect. Clean, comfortable and minimalist but had all we needed. Loved all the thoughtful touches like extra sitting area in the room and comfy bedding.

It’s currently under construction for some upgrades. Not their fault that we chose this time to visit so can’t wait to go back and see the changes.

The breakfast was amazing such a great variety! The hotel was so clean and beautiful. The beds and pillows were so comfortable!! The staff was amazing! I would highly recommend this hotel.
