Brilliant property in excellent location. Parking was a great addition. Plenty of room for us as a couple and one dog but possibly a bit limited in downstairs space for a larger family. Plenty of bedroom/bathroom space thou and the small enclosed yard at the back was great for the dog and to sit out in the sunshine

Beautifully decorated in a great location. You can see the Abbey from the front bedroom. 5 minute walk into town. Showers were great and the beds comfortable. Everything we needed was provided.

Our car (vw tiguan) would not fit into the designated parking space as another car was parked badly in the next space and the wheelie bins are stored there too which were overflowing causing rubbish to come into the back yard. A parking permit was provided tho to park elsewhere. Sofa not very comfortable but for the amount of time we spent there it didn't matter too much. Ĺighting is also needed along the steps upto the front door.

It is modern, fresh, clean and perfectly situated. All bedrooms are en-suite. Beds are comfy.

WiFi not very good. Needs extractor hood over the hob as creates cooking smells to linger. Not very well lit on the steps to gain access to property at night . Extra seating in living room to accommodate 6 adults.

We stayed at Bella Vista for 4 nights, to visit Whitby and for a family wedding in January. The location was excellent, close to all the shops and the venue. We were very comfortable in this light, spacious, warm, modernised and cosy house. Each bedroom had an en-suite; the beds were so comfortable with cotton sheets and good mattresses. The interior has been newly decorated to a high standard. From the front of the house, and from two of the three bedrooms, you have a clear view of Whitby Abbey, the river and it is situated close to the station and a large Co-op. It was also very convenient to have free parking at the back too. We liked some thoughtful touches such as a binoculars, dressing tables and full length mirrors. As an adult family, we were all delighted with our choice of accommodation and will definitely come again and recommend it to family and friends.

Nothing at all!! We loved it! However, as a newly refurbished property there are a couple of things that could be included such as a door mat for the back sliding doors, a grab rail for the bath in the bathroom and hooks to hang clothes and/or towels in the bath/shower rooms/downstairs toilet. The front and back yards are ready for some TLC too. It is worth noting that there are quite a few steps leading up to the front property and at the back. Also worth noting that there is no washing machine, dishwasher or cooker hood. None of this was necessary for us and it wouldn’t put us off from returning.
