Peaceful setting at one end of the town, away from any noise (although there's not much of that in Valle anyway). Good sized room, with a coffee machine, fridge, and even a microwave for reheating leftovers! A beautiful property, with space to relax outside on a deck chair or in a hammock. Lovely dog too ☺️ One of the staff, Jason, was super helpful for me. Valle is his hometown, and so he has lots of knowledge about useful stuff like bus timings, and you get given his WhatsApp number so can send questions to him when you need.

Felt a bit overpriced when I compare this to hotels in Panama City, but maybe that's normal for the area (I haven't compared recently). I also found that I'd quickly gained more knowledge about the area than the owner, Bret, seemed to have - I ended up giving tips to him, rather than the other way round.

What an absolutely beautiful place! It was so comfortable, and Bret was extremely helpful. The garden is so lovely, the room is well set up and very clean. The bathroom is really nice. So many good things to say. Highly recommend!

Perfect location right at the center of El Valle. Rooms were very clean, orderly and comfy. Brett made sure we were comfortable at all times.

The location is perfect with amenities within walking distance. The facilities are very comfortable and the owner is very accommodating, friendly and helpful.

Birding from bed! I didn’t believe it when Bret said we would be seeing so many delightful and diverse birds right out the windows but there was a constant visiting of hummingbirds and other rare sightings.

Our stay in El Valle de Anton was truly unforgettable, thanks to the warm hospitality of Bret and his delightful dog, Noah. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, making this the most memorable accommodation of our trip. Bret's kindness and engaging conversations added a personal touch to our experience. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and shared fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, which turned out to be some of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Noah, Bret’s friendly dog, was a highlight of our stay. Whether it was playtime or cuddles, Noah’s cheerful presence brought so much joy and comfort. It felt like staying with family rather than at a typical lodging. The combination of thoughtful hospitality, meaningful interactions, and a welcoming atmosphere made this stay exceptional. We left with fond memories and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Panama. Thank you, Bret and Noah, for making our trip so special!
