2 Bed in Lynton oc-chap

It is an apartment on the top floor of a former chapel. As it is on the top floor it has actually two levels, with a large master bedroom with shower and toilet on the 2nd level. 1st level split in bathroom, living room, kitchen with seats en bedroom with two beds. Stayed on my own so quite spacious, with family probably ok although with whole family in one room it would need to be at the kitchen table.

As it is in the topmof the former chapel, the windows are all small and in the sloped roof. Sufficient light though limited view outside. In December I dind’ mind too much, but some might miss that open window with view outside.

Plenty of space, good location. Lynton delightful even in wet and windy weather. Two supermarkets just around the corner .We enjoyed our stay and the apartment suited our needs. Can recommend The Cottage Inn Thai restaurant and The Black Venus at Challacombe both excellent.

Lack of and confusing information available. one page said departure 9.00 am one said 10.00 am? Instruction to put all bedding in the bag provided - no bag, no tips on how to operate the heating (once we had worked it out nicely warm. Had to ask a friendly neighbour where the bins were. The multiple messages from Marsdens telling the arrival and departure times did not feel very welcoming?
