Boricje Village Escape

Leuk huisje midden in de natuur. Super gastvrije host, die zelfs een heerlijk diner voor ons maakte. Alles is aanwezig in het huisje, zeer compleet. Zeer rustgevend.

De weg er naartoe is vrij smal, en je zit vrij ver van alles af. Maar de natuur is prachtig.

This place is unbelievably amazing ! We stayed only 1 night but so wished we had stayed for 2 or 3 nights. We were greeted by the host Mili and her husband who were very, very friendly and kind. Mili made us traditional priganice doughball dumplings which she served with local honey … they are just delicious. She also had nuts, crackers and pretzels ready for us. In the fridge there were beers, wine, water and apple juice which we could just help ourselves to. The cottage was clean, the beds very comfortable and the linen smelt lovely. Mili has thought of everything as there was nothing missing. I think that the hosts do this for pleasure and not just for the money as you can definitely see and feel this in their presence. We spent the evening outside kicking a ball around, throwing a frisbee which was all provided and there was even a table soccer game where we had lots of fun with our 2 teenagers. Don’t make the same mistake that we made and stay only 1 night. From here you can drive up the Piva Canyon, go to the waterfall close by, drive the Durmitor Ring and see and do so much more.

Amazing location! The hosts left us baked goods, and variety of drinks. Super friendly, helped us set fire for BBQ. There was everything you could need and more. Beautiful, clean house. The views were stunning.

A little difficult road to the location. But worth it.

Although we spent only one night in this home, it was unforgettable thanks to the hosts' incredible hospitality. They created such a cozy and private atmosphere, with thoughtful touches everywhere that made us want to stay longer and return again. We’ve traveled a lot in Montenegro as a family, but this house offered the best experience of all! It’s perfectly situated between Piva Lake and Durmitor, in a small valley surrounded by mountains. Everything inside is beautifully done: the house, the furniture, and all the little details. There's a cozy fireplace that we enjoyed using, and the design is simply stunning. The host was amazing—very friendly and kind! She even left us wine, beer, milk, coffee, tea, and more. We decided to order breakfast and dinner, and it was a great choice. The meals were delicious, and there was more than enough, even for my husband, who is 2 meters tall and has a big appetite! For dinner, we had meat, salad, delicious potatoes, traditional fried pancakes with cheese and ham, and homemade bread. For breakfast, we asked if she could make traditional dumplings—priganice—and she was happy to do that for us. She also brought pancakes with chocolate and banana, eggs, ham, homemade bread, cheese, and honey. It was clear she put a lot of effort into making our stay as comfortable as possible, and she truly succeeded. Staying in this house made our entire trip unforgettable, and I highly recommend it!

Very nice, clean and gorgeous house! An opportunity to enjoy the magic of the countryside! Very well equipped lodge, absolutely everything is available (even including laundry capsules) 🤩 Also drinks and wine given by the hosts and home-baked local delicacies with honey - like in a 5-star hotel 🫶
