ZAThe House was lovely with a great view, serine and very quiet. Thanks for the welcome drink of Sherry, that was certainly needed for the very chilly nights.
We travelled with 5 People and the 5th person had to stay in an open bed room with no privacy, Guess the house would be perfect if you had family with little kids that wouldn't mind the open plan setting. The Kitchen could have done with more that 4 Coffee cups. Garden needs serious love and care :(

ZAWhile Golden Cove offers a splendid opportunity to explore the beauty of the Golden Gate and the charming town of Clarens, catering well to groups including adults and children, our experience was marred by significant service challenges. From the outset, securing a booking confirmation was unexpectedly difficult, with persistent confusion over the location being identified as Uvongo rather than the correct location. This confusion nearly jeopardized our trip, despite booking a month in advance. Additionally, the process to reclaim our R1000 deposit was notably slow, taking seven weeks and requiring multiple follow-ups. While the accommodation itself is ideally situated for hikers and visitors to Clarens, the customer service aspects deeply impacted our overall experience.
ZAThe place was very clean and beautiful. It had everyone we needed. The place even had a beautiful outside area. It's definitely a winner. We had the whole huge house to ourselves.

Curtain rail and curtains missing in main bedroom after owner had work done in the house before arrival. An extra TV in another room, for the kids would have been nice.
