Everything was perfect🫶🏻Loved my stay there

Very comfy beds, super clean, and nice layout! There is even a little kitchen area (kettle and dishes), which is useful.

There were some unwanted insects and spiders in the bathroom, but I guess I could have thought of that when booking an outdoor bathroom... The location is quite far from the main part of town and the main beach. But it's easy to reach by Tuk Tuk.

Had a night at this accommodation, lovely stay, comfortable and clean. We had a car and they offer a place to park the car, it’s 3 min by car to the beach and town by car .There is a local shop just outside the flat and the owner has been quite prompt to resolve any issue. The AC worker perfect and hot water on the shower was great best we had in srilanka so far.

Loved everything the only thing I would mention is that it would be lovely if room had a small fridge. Another thing is that WiFi does not really work in the room but works perfect in the patio outside, maybe a signal problem.

Absolutely loved this place for a quiet week in the sun. We were met by our host, Tushan, who showed around the apartment and made sure that we knew enough about the area to get by before we started exploring ourselves. We had a 1st floor, self-contained apartment which was absolutely spotless. Tushan had stocked the fridge with some essentials for, bread, butter and water and there was plenty of tea and coffee for us. Tulshan gave us his WhatsApp number and told us that he lived within a few minutes of the property and was on-call should we need anything at all. Apart from that he didn't bother us and we felt we could relax without worrying that he was on top of us. There's a small shop directly next to the apartments which can sell you basics and the bread man comes along on his Tuk Tuk regularly. You'll know he's near as he plays Fleur de lys via a speaker as he's approaching! The apartment was made up of a good sized bedroom which opened up to a well stocked kitchenette, the bathroom was via a door from the kitchen area. No issues with hot water for the large shower room. The 'living area' is outside of the apartment on your own well sized patio which had a dinner table and plenty of seating and was a great place to sit and watch the monkey's playing in trees just a couple of hundred yards away. Off of the patio were steps up to a quiet rooftop seating area with more seating. The beach road was around a 10-15 minute walk away down a tarmac lane, be aware that it's unlit so you may want to consider a torch if you're walking back late at night. The beach road is packed with restaurants on either side as well as some supermarkets. If it's your thing be aware that the supermarkets can not sell alcohol but there is a wine shop on the beach road. Its around a 40 minute walk or 200 rupees in a tuk tuk! The larger town of Galle is around 7km away and is well worth a visit, we caught a Grab Tuk Tuk and it cost us £2.

Convenient location, the apartment was spacious and had all the amenities.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön und hat alles was man braucht. Gerade wenn man länger bleiben möchte. Es gab immer frisches Trinkwasser, das WLAN hat wirklich gut funktioniert und Thushan (der Vermieter) war immer zu erreichen und hat sich sofort gekümmert, wenn es mal ein Problem gab. Ich kann diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen 🫶🏻

Das einzige war das es keinen Garten oder Terrasse gibt (für die untere Wohnung). Mich hat das nicht gestört, da ich eh den ganzen Tag unterwegs war.

The apartment was very clean and cozy. Air con worked very well. Bathroom was super clean also and the shower was strong with hot water. The host was very nice and brought bananas and fresh coconuts everyday. He was easily reachable if I needed to ask any questions. He even drove me and my large suitcase on his moped to the bus stop. The apartment is a little far from the centre. I liked this as it was very chill and no noise.

The front door to the apartment didn’t feel very secure. The top lock on one of the doors didn’t close properly.

Extremely cool villa! Thushan (owner of the villa) was very welcoming and nice. We arrived extremely late in the evening and he was waiting for us. He showed everything in the villa, described all the facilities. Complementary welcome amenities were amazing: bottles of water, pack of milk, dozen eggs, butter, jam, fruits, napkins in each room. Every morning he arrived to welcome us with fresh coconuts. Kitchen well equipped, everything needed for stay! WiFi worked excellent. Very cozy bedroom. Bathroom very spacious and clean. Has parking a lot inside the territory of the villa. Small garden inside. In the villa there are 2 separate apartments on different floors. Neighbours were not bothering us. Very close to the beach side 10-15 min walk to cafes, beaches, markets. Not very far from city center of Unawatuna.
