Residenza La Meridiana

Very central, parking space available in the surroundings, helpful staff, clean room, very good wifi.

Windows with no blinds nor heavy courtains. Toilet was clean but quite small with no bidet.

The host, Signora Giusy is very nice and helpful. She stayed in touch with me via whatsapp and she helped me with my luggage (I left it to Signora Maria’s store just across the road for a few hours until I left for the airport later in the afternoon for my evening flight) Knowing that my luggage was in safe hands while I enjoyed the last few hours of my holiday on the beach was nice. The room was clean, the A.C was working well; cleaning was provided daily; There are small supermarkets close by where you can buy some essential things (snacks, water, cold drink, toiletries, etc) and a Conad supermarket 10 min away. Da Pasquale pizzeria is 5 min away by foot and they do make a nice pizza which is fresh and cheep (paid 7 euros for a nice pizza)

The building does not have a kitchen, I could not cook which was a shame because I had bought some food on the day of my arrival). There is no washing machine available so I washed all my clothes by hand. The location is rural - 3 train stops away from the beaches (Tropea or Zambrone and Parghelia) so if you want to go to the beach you will have to take the train from Briatico train station. Not sure if there are beaches nearby the apartment, I went to Tropea.
