Duintjie Beach Cottage

Die ligging is perfek! Nie besef die huisie is so naby aan die strand nie. Die vars broodjie en bottel wyn was 'n absolute bonus! Die huis is baie goed toegerus met alles wat jy kan nodig kry. Een aand is beslis te min.

Mens moet besef dat die huisie in die hart van Paternoster is. Natuurlik gaan daar 'n 'buzz' wees.

Scenically the location was superb as it could hardly have been closer to the beach.

It was noisy and outside the cottage the litter was disgusting, as it was on the beach and around the town. Not our hosts fault but something should be done by the local council.

The pics don’t do the house justice. Clean, comfortable, lovely bedrooms and beautifully appointed. Wonderful to sit on the stoep and watch the fisherman going back and forth. The beach is a short walk away, as are some lovely restaurants. A bottle of wine and warm, fresh bread on arrival are very nice touches. Our host was immensely kind. We were sorry to leave and will be back for sure.

Nothing, it exceeded our expectations.

We had a wonderful time looking forward to returning again..well decorated and everything that’s need with a complementary bottle of wine was the cherry on top

The handover was not very pleasant. Felt like I was doing them a favor

It was quite windy during our visit and we were completely protected from the prevailing wind. We spent most of our time on the front stoep enjoying the uninterrupted sea views! Every detail of the cottage was thoughtful and comfortable.

At first, the crayfish sellers harass you quite a bit as they are up and down the road a lot. You either need to buy from them or give a firm 'no thanks' to get them to leave you alone. The security at the house is excellent and makes you feel more at ease.
