Allen Ridge

Struttura moderna, stanza molto ampia e ben arredata, bagno molto molto carino, con doccia enorme. Molto utile la possibilità di fare tè e macchina caffè (con capsule). Il proprietario è stato molto carino e disponibile. Ci ha fornito una bottiglia di acqua fresca all'arrivo oltre che ci ha dato la disponibilità di mettere la nostra moto nel suo garage. 15minuti di passeggiata piacevole verso il centro.

We arrived exhausted but left refreshed. From Nic's greeting and showing us around, the garden for Molly to play in together with a kennel full of toys for her to choose from, being able to sit in the evening cool outside and enjoy the quiet, an excellent night's sleep in a super comfy bed with no murmur of noise from anywhere.... just amazing! There was a coffee machine, kettle, cutlery and crockery for our evening snack... Nic seems to have thought of absolutely everything. We were so sorry that we had only one night here and will be coming back when we use the Shuttle. The welcoming glass of wine was a lovely touch.

Emplacement parfait pour un départ très matinal pour le ferry à Douvres Quartier très calme. Accueil très chaleureux.

Het is een nette kamer op 10 minuten rijden van de eurotunnel, netjes en schoon, comfortabele bedden en koffie/thee staan voor je klaar. Nic is een geweldige host en heeft ons een goed restaurant aangeraden. Lopend ben je in 15 minuten in het centrum. Het ligt wel wat hoger, dus als je minder mobiel bent is de loop naar het dorpje geen goed idee.

We konden geen raam openen, dat was ‘s nachts een beetje benauwd.

Hythe is a beautiful village near the sea, which is at walking distance. Nic is a very pleasant and helpful host. The room has a separate entrance, its own terrace, is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The facilities are excellent. Allen Ridge is perfectly situated if you just arrived or have to depart via the Tunnel.

Nick was a brilliant host. He was very helpful from the moment we arrived, and went out of his way to help throughout our stay. The property was spotless and he has provided everything you need. Lovely bed and towels, and a great private outside space. I totally recommend this place and look forward to returning in the future.
