I didn’t have a chance to review, as when I arrived, nobody let me in. The neighbours said,that I have been scammed. That it happened lot of people. No money back.

We didn't had the chance even to get inside the property. This man is definitely a big liar. Very disappointed!

We have been charged but we were left outside due to owner's vs Booking.com misunderstanding/miscommunication. The Liar owner has messaged us saying that we will get the refund in 7 days .. by the end of June... is July and nothing happened

No idea as never got to stay as accommodation cancelled by owner the afternoon we were due to arrive. Still trying to get a refund

I need my money back

A great, quiet location about 10mins drive from central Swansea. Parking off road on drive.

The main issues I encountered were communication, access difficulties at the pre-arranged time, room and bathroom cleanliness and misrepresentation from the main booking advert. Someone also had clearly been smoking throughout the house prior to my arrival. Breakfast is available at a cost and is not included as advertised. Due to various factors beyond my control, I chose not to spend the night. I shall not be returning. I have requested a full refund as advised by customer services. I have been messaged by the owner / manager stating that these monies will not be forthcoming any time soon !!

The host was very nice and accommodating, we needed to leave before breakfast time for a cycling event and they offered and provided a delicious packed breakfast for our early start. Also, we arrived quite late, but it was all easy with self-check-in.

The location is really good for Swansea university visit, it is quiet and there is easy parking. When the toilet was blocked on our arrival and the toilet brush was broken the owner got someone to come and unblock it within 30 minutes. The owner apologised for the TV not working and offered to send someone round with a fire stick to use instead. He also offered free snacks but I didn’t want them as they were only chocolate. It was easy to get into with the key code for the key safe texted prior to arriving.

There are lots of things which need improvement to make it a suitable stay: In the bedroom it needs a light shade, curtains with blackouts instead of the broken vertical blinds, bedside tables and lights, unstained carpet, a throw on the bed would make it more cosy along with more cushions for aesthetics, a chair to put things on as it is a big room, pictures on the walls of the local areas as at the moment it looks and feels like someone has only just moved in and hasn’t unpacked. Having a small and big towel and if 2 of you are staying to have 2 water glasses and 2 coffee cups would be good. In the bathroom the shower head needs mending, I believe it worked but it is half hanging off. The instructions on the house were printed skewed and the top line cut off so you can’t read it and the holes punched in the middle of information. The TV didn’t work but there wasn’t a note to say that it didn’t. The information said that breakfast would be served from 9am, which actually when you are wanting to go out, is quite late a start and would be much better if served from 8 or 8.30. We waited but the kitchen door didn’t open, we went downstairs and found in the lounge on the coffee table cereal consisting of rice crispies and cornflakes only, milk and juice which we then assumed was just what was on offer. I had assumed there would be a table and chairs to sit at as I didn’t want to sit on a sofa so we left to find breakfast somewhere else. When I booked the accommodation because it was a picture of a modern house I had assumed it was the equivalent of renting a room in a house that was occupied by a family. When we spoke with the owner I was given the impression we were the only people staying but at 12.30am someone else came into the house which was very unnerving and I put the stool next to the bedroom door as I was a bit worried someone might come in or try to, even though the door was locked.

I must say it’s the worst stay I have had with booking.com, kept awake with someone ie the owner having a big row in the kitchen. When he called me the next day he said he was on a teams call mmm I don’t think so, I went down stairs in the morning and the kitchen looked like a bomb had gone off, I couldn’t wait to get out. I told him to call me and when he did he accused me of theft. I have given him a chance to reimburse me but no luck. Please Please don’t stay at Ocean Dream
