Verona Boutique House

Great location and roomy apartment with ever6we needed.

The lift broke so difficult getting bags back down 3 flights of stairs. It was very hot while we were there and the air-conditioning kept cutting out. The apartment was cool enough but glad when the air-conditioning came back on.

The property is new and clean and also well-equipped, we had everything we needed for our stay. The location is brilliant, right in the middle of the old town

The communication with the host was not great (e.g. they never clarified how we should pay the tourist tax and after we checked out, they messaged us saying that we forgot about it and also blamed us for something else that did not happen). Also, the lift is tiny, it does not fit a buggy and starts only on floor 1 (before that, there's a staircase).

The location is excellent. Barbara is a responsive, helpful host. The open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge has a good layout. The shower has great hot water.

The location was great. The apartment looked nice.

The apartment was unbearably noisy with very thin walls. You can hear people talking (and everything) next door and the thumping above was so loud. Sleep was elusive. The smell was weird and opening the windows didn't help. The shower was tiny and didn't work well.

Excellent location in the old city. Comfortable bed. Good security for the building.

There is a lot of street noise , it’s on a busy corridor between a church and a public square. We also heard loud sex from our room on the morning we left (upstairs). The materials used in the renovation aren’t holding up well (the support for one of the cabinets is crooked, one of the window blinds was broken), and the portable air conditioner doesn’t allow you to operate the bedroom window.

Being an ex rugby player the shower unit was a little small for me, but everything worked fine the apartment.
