Casa Blanco

Apartment was spacious with 2 bedrooms, big kitchen and big private terrace. Building was much better compared to its surroundings. The host was friendly and supportive, gave us good recommendations and organized airport transfer for us. Close to the local beach, just 50 meters and you are there.

Some basic stuff is missing, like a regular kitchen knife or decent coffee cups. Owen doesn't work, gas stove is very difficult to operate, and one of the air-conditioning needs maintenance since the fan is making a lot of noise. Still all these things are minor and didn't affect our stay much. Location needs careful consideration since it is far from attractions and good beaches, public transport is poor and not reliable, and driving in Palermo is not for the faint-hearted. The beach nearby is good enough but nothing like beaches you find in photos. Mondello beach is very nice but crowded to extent that almost ruins the experience.

Dejlig, stor lejlighed beliggende tæt ved fin strand og gode restauranter. Området er meget slidt, men menneskerne i området er meget flinke og hjælpsomme - trods deres begrænsede engelskkundskaber
