The host sent me the entry information via email through booking.com and was quick to respond. Check out was easy and it was in a convenient location. Price is fair for the property. Thank you for sharing your property and I would return in the future.

Property needs a lot of updates. It had only 1 fork in the cupboard, nothing to cook in besides a small pot, sink in kitchen was broke and had something under cupboard holding it up. Walls are scuffed and banged up. It reminded me of a college kids' apartment. But it was worth the money and convenient location.

Bad neighborhood and the place didn’t seem secure

Nice neighborhood, convenient to everything, quiet and private space. Comfortable living room in a small house. Host is very responsive.

Bed in main bedroom was not comfortable, house needs a deep cleaning.

Location was good. Available at short notice. We arrived late, slept, got up and left by 6am.

This place is functional but very tired and dated. We couldn't park on the driveway as there was already a car on it. There was on road parking close by, so not really a big problem. The small Christmas tree in the lounge was particularly random.

Nice to have 2 bedrooms.

No salt and pepper. Also no kettle to make a cup of tea. Not sure if it's a USA thing. All homes in NZ have a kettle for boiling water.

We had a highly frustrating experience with this property and its host. Despite having a confirmed booking, we were left waiting outside for over an hour without clear check-in instructions, which was particularly taxing after a long drive with a young child. Despite multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the host and seek assistance, we were forced to find alternative accommodation for the night. When the host finally sent the check-in details, it was too late. We had already been forced to secure another place due to the lack of timely communication. We attempted to reach out to the host multiple times—five attempts in total—with calls not going through or not being answered. It was incredibly disheartening not to receive the necessary support in a timely manner. Furthermore, our requests for a refund were outright denied despite the host’s inability to provide prompt check-in instructions. Their response lacked understanding and did not acknowledge the inconvenience caused. It’s disappointing to report such a negative experience, especially since we had hoped for a much-needed rest after a long journey. This experience has left us wary, and we advise potential guests to be cautious when booking this property. The host’s refusal to accommodate our reasonable request for a refund was particularly upsetting, and it felt like a scam given our circumstances.
