Lush Breeze

The staff were kind and accommodating when we needed breakfast earlier as per our schedule.

Note that the hotel is somewhat far from Kandy city centre and it on top of a hill, with a very steep road leading in to the hotel. Our car struggled to get up the road and we couldn’t go up using tuktuk either so we had to walk up. It can be tricky with heavy luggage but the staff were kind and helped us bring our luggages up. We had a private bathroom but the bathroom was outside our room, which we didn’t know from before. There was a curtain to section off our space so it was fine.

Location was perfect. The staff were exceptional so friendly and smiling the whole time! They made us a delicious breakfast and even got up so early to give us a takeaway breakfast for our train journey!

Super lovely boutique hotel in Kandy with two of the nicest, most helpful, hosts you will meet. The breakfast was fantastic and the view from the room and communal area was gorgeous. The place was spotlessly clean and I can honestly say I got the best nights sleep I’d had in Sri Lanka while I was there. It was an amazing deal for the price we paid and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

My only small issue was that the blinds did not keep out the light very well. However if you have an eye mask or are a heavy sleeper you should be fine.

Het uitzicht was fantastisch. ‘s morgens tijdens het ontbijt kwamen de apen op bezoek en aten zij de avocado’s van de boom op. De eigenaren hebben ons geholpen een chauffeur voor naar het treinstation te vinden. Ondanks dat hun Engels niet perfect is, waren ze erg vriendelijk en deden ze hun best om ons te helpen!

Het is een steile weg naar boven die niet iedere Tuktuk aan kan. Het kan dus zijn dat je het laatst steile stukje omhoog moet lopen. Dit is maar een Helvoort stukje van can 50 meter, dus was ook zeker niet vervelend.
