The fact that there is no restaurant

I have stayed here twice. The first time I had a bright room overlooking the pool. If you get this then you are lucky. The second time I got a dark room at the end of a dark hall. It felt depressing so I left early. The staff are lovely people and the breakfast was good. But I was not even informed that I needed to ask for the water heater to be turned in before I could have a hot shower. The WiFi signal is strong but it’s impossible to access. I do have a feeling that the owner is not putting profits back into improving things. These are basic issues that are pretty much necessary for all accommodations . But saying this, I would be happy in the brighter rooms if I ever returned to Verdi

The location is central which was nice and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

The shower omg - it literally drops 3 drops at a time, after a long drive where one need a nice warm shower after the handle this place unfortunately doesn’t have that proper shower head. And the charging ports they have those ports that requires you to put a sharp object in to push and plug a charger - I struggled the first 2 nights and no they don’t explain these thank God I had a powerbank and I was out and about the whole time.

Good area, lovely garden, clean and comfortable enough for the price! The staff were very lovely. The manager helped me order taxis as I could t get the app to work and even paid the fare when I returned as the driver didn’t have change! (I paid her back!)

They gave me cold baked beans. No drinking water on site.

Quiet garden, nice cats ok brekfast wonderful staff and good rooms

The water was not enough powerful in the shower
