I am still waiting to receive the invoice from the owners. It is an old building, so there is a certain "old building/sewers smell"

Property was nice enough

I didn’t like the host AT ALL! They send out a form e-mail asking you to contact them with any problems, but once you do, they don’t respond in a timely fashion! I told host I was traveling with my disabled mother and no mention was ever made of stairs in the front entrance. There were other issues as well yet no one responded to my concerns until AFTER I had already checked out.

The location is the best. Just in the heart of Old Town. The apartment is modern and nice.

Lack of communication between the host and guest. No essentials are provided. There was NO bottle of water, teabag, sugar, salt, etc. provided. There was only a half-roll of toilet paper provided to 2 people for 4 nights!! Just 1 bin bag, half-roll of kitchen towel, 4 coffee capsules, and absolutely no material to help you cooking (oil, salt, sugar, etc.). I sent messages, text, and email to the host about tha, but no reply!

The apartment has a perfect central location. It was very clean. Bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and clean. Internet connection was very good. Apartment itself fulfilled our expectations.

Although it was cold weather in Udine (5°C), the hosts did not think to turn on heating before our arrival, so it was very cold in apartment the whole first day and night. Sofa bed was not made, although we requested this to be done. I was asked to provide my WhatsApp number and even a link was sent to me to download this application, but later I was informed that the staff doesn't use WhatsApp, so upon our arrival in Udine in the evening hours we had to make a roaming call to remind them to send us all necessary information about apartment and entry codes.

Location excellent. Essentials provided. Clean and neat. Good pdf file of how to find the apartment. Smart tv. Good selection of kitchen utensils. Decent size fridge. Nice rainfall shower. Good AC system.

No toaster provided despite being listed as facilities. Room decorations blander than in photos - fewer cushions, no vases/flowers. No sugar for coffee capsules provided. Shower warm but not hot. Only one small toilet roll for 4 guests for 3 nights. Cleaning things (mop and hoover) out and visible in room - no cupboard to put them away (perhaps this should be a serviced apartment instead?). Once sofa bed opened, living space significantly reduced - would be helpful to see this in pictures as felt a good size for 2 but compact for 4. Beware opening windows - as at the back of the property it faces the back of other shops/appartments so during the day a musty cooking smell entered the flat. Not much natural light. Overall felt a bit more basic than pictures would suggest and potentially better options available for the price, was disappointing as I will likely visit Udine again. WhatsApp contact was not very helpful as limited English - I asked re: toaster and they simply replied that it was in the flat (it was not).

The designer of the property is very talented. Super clean, comfortable and put together with high class style.

As I explained, there was no shampoo, conditioner or even hand soap. No napkins, 2 coffee capsules, but nothing else. The property management company stated it would be too expensive to add these things, and as a result of prior bad tenants they don’t offer these, which makes you think. Yes I encourage you to think. You may get pristine and beautiful but without practical and real world because they are cheap. I run 5 villas, two other rentals and have only the best ratings, we offer a free bottle of wine, cookies, local honey, teas normal amenities, 20 coffee capsules (coffees important!) and all that you need. Rarely it’s all used and only 30% of the time the wine. So, pls don’t let this discourage you from staying here. Is simply annoys me about their mindset. Even when the management agency agreed that they should have only hand soap. No effort was made. I think you get the picture.
