Comfortable bed, very clean room and bathroom. Good selection of teas and coffees. A great stopover as we were catching a ferry to Bute the next morning. Ideal accomodation for this.

A wee bit of a damp, fusty smell on entering downstairs which made my heart sink, but the rest of the property was absolutely fine. We were very warm, maybe consider a summer duvet?

This is the second time I have stayed. The room and facilities are great. Lovely room , shower, and the fridge and microwave in the hall are ideal. Can definitely recommend.

Location was handy for the ferry in the morning Spotlessly clean Excellent to have the use of a fridge. There was a microwave too. Helpful information on the key box provided in advance Great after support when my partner left something behind Pet free so great for allergy sufferers. That's a must for us, but becoming harder to find. Free parking Nice cafe downstairs- separate business. Very clean. Good bacon rolls. Great to see the building renovated and back in use Easy walking distance to the town centre where there is a good choice of cafes and restaurants Also, the almost unique outdoor pool which will be open in May.

Feather duvet and pillows- good quality but we are allergic to feathers. Luckily we had the caravan bedding in the car Train noise. Hadn't realised the property is right beside the railway. The trains don't run all night fortunately. Very close to the next door building, so important to keep the blind closed if you want privacy. Cracked floor tiles in the shower room. Beautiful tiles but think the WC was installed before the tile cement had fully set, so there is a crack right across the shower room floor. Trust a surveyor to pick up a snagging item!

Clean and tidy

Nice clean room with tea facilities included ,heating was on all day/night which was icing on the cake ,definitely value for money

The green Luminous Emergency light which kept us awake most of the night

Trying to get in room. I had no idea where entrance was, then code did not work properly. And very noisy as next to train line. But not really a complaint, as I knew it was at tramline when I booked
