THe IRELAND

The hotel is located 100m from Cat Ba gate so it's convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are spacious, airy and comfortable. The mattresses are soft and the blankets are warm. Most importantly, the owner is extremely nice and always smiles.

The stay was very relaxing, we went to many places on the island as instructed by the receptionist, and the trip was really great.

Overall (tldr): amazing stay for a great price! - Great location for all activities. - The tours that they offer really have the best prices (we compared a lot and they were really the cheapest!) - we highly recommend the 1-day trekking tour to Viet Hai village!! Amazing tour, private boat ride with kayaking and swimming back. - Breakfast is nice (pancake or omelette, plus toast). - Host is super helpful with everything and assures you have the best stay. - Scooter rental for 100VND is a great price and we highly recommend to drive around the national park with it.

- just small issue: rooms are really spacious; however, our room had the same moist climate as the island generally has. This wasn’t a problem for our stay (3 nights), but might be an issue for longer stays.

It a really lovely family that owns it who is trying hard to accommodate the guests and make sure you feel welcome Spacious, bright, big room The location is off the main road where there’s currently (Apr 25) major construction happening - as Cat Ba is quite small you’re still everywhere super fast

There‘s a Club Right Next door which you can hear in the evening - not super loud but if you‘re noise sensitive it might be a problem
