Great, quiet location. Stayed here a number of times and will definitely book again. Issue with the toilet leaking, but response was immediate and fixed promptly. Would highly recommend.

Location was perfect

Location was ideal for us to visit our family and friends. It is also walking distance to local pubs, shops and restaurants. Parking is onsite and easy.

Unfortunately the standard of cleanliness of the accommodation was considerably poorer than other places we have stayed in. For example, In the kitchen the cups in the cupboards were dirty which had to be washed before they could be used. There were dirty plates left on the worktop which had to be washed before putting them away. The cutlery in the drawer were greasy which had to be washed before they could be used. The drainer on the sink had coffee stains so this also had to be washed. In the main reception room, there was a dirty chopping board on the table and breadcrumbs on the table. In the bathroom, the shower mat was dirty and stained. There were also large cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Also, I think the bathroom would benefit from a fan being installed as it smelt musty. The towels were tiny. In the main bedroom, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. There was also a lot of dust and dirt between the bed and bedside tables. When we stripped the bed the mattress protector was stained. Also, the blind wasn't working as you couldn't pull it up or open the slats to let in more light. And some of the slats are bent and broken. It would be nice to have curtains as the window looks very bare. The garden is very overgrown and is unusable. There was rubbish left in the garden. Even our dog refused to use it. Other minor niggles and recommendations for improvements would be to have a hairdryer provided; the provision of some cleaning equipment, such as broom or small vacuum cleaner. If you were to spill anything or have a small accident in the kitchen, there is nothing to clean it up. WIFI password should be more obvious as we eventually found it on the back of the router on the floor.

No lock on bathroom door Temperature adjuster on shower doesn’t work - had to adjust from water temp on boiler in kitchen. 3 scalding showers before we figured this out and one cold one - then 4 attempts running between bathroom and kitchen to adjust and get correct water temperature - this isn’t acceptable Oven trays dirty upon arrival Person (owner/cleaner?) sitting in car directly outside the property with the engine running the whole time 30 minutes before check out time was also very off putting!

Could have done with a cloth and hair dryer but nothing else :)

The location and the house

Tv wasn't working but the manager got it sorted the night before we left !! Also toilet light was not working!!

Location

On arrival there had not been cleaners in. Dirty, dog hairs everywhere. Overgrown patio which made it unusable. Light in bathroom not working. Grime and Lego paper rubbish under beds. Mould in bathroom. Insects and spiders throughout.
