Snug Harbour apartment

The location of Snug Harbour was perfect for where we needed to visit during our stay. It's very close to the main street and local shopping centre so all within easy walking distance. If you like your golf, this is located just at the entrance to the walk up to the golf club in Arklow. Our arrival was slightly delayed due to a bus not arriving at the airport and then the teatime traffic for a Friday so we made Laslo aware. He let us know it wouldn't be a problem as he would be around to be able to provide the keys, which was reassuring. On arrival we had plenty available from our host to be able to have tea, coffee and water as well as snacks etc. It was fantastic and really appreciated. All the facilities were really clean and we had plenty of towels provided for us as well as some key toiletries should we have forgotten anything. We were in Arklow to visit my partner's family because of a key birthday so we were able to visit them and attended the party without needing the use of a car which was great. Laslo is an excellent host and was incredibly generous in taking us to the airport for our return flight as he was visiting family nearby on the same day. We have plans to come back and stay again within the next couple of months and will hopefully be staying here again. Thank you for making the break so great for us.

Having blackout blinds at home, given the fantastic sunny weather during our stay, we did miss those.

Very pleasant and comfortable apartment in a quiet area of town. A perfect little spot to stay and relax while visiting friends and family. Bed was very comfortable, the apartment was warm and cosy, with anything you'd need for cooking at home. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming also, and the ducks in the garden were an adorable bonus!

Not a complaint but just wanted to highlight the layout of the apartment had a step between the kitchen and bedroom, to keep in mind if you have accessibility needs.

I got very lost and the host came and found me. I was sick during my stay and the host was kind enough to offer to go to the pharmacy, and got me food and juice so I could recover. He is a good, kind man and helped a solo female traveler feel safe.
