La Scaletta

The location is perfect: it is a private house in the heart of the historic center yet close to the main attractions. The house is well-appointed and tastefully renovated and decorated and comfortably furnished with no clutter that feels like a boutique hotel. There is a well equipped sparkling clean kitchen with all orderly supplies and appliances, nice bathroom with good plumbing fixtures and basic necessary toiletries. The place is professionally cleaned, comfortable, both A/C’s are working great (during our super hot summer stay we came to rest home in the afternoon, it was very pleasant to close the shutters and take a nap in a cool place to escape the heat). The homeowner was responding promptly, met us on time and helped with recommendations and was very accommodating. There is a private terrace that is beautiful enough for a romantic evening or some special gathering, decorated with hand-made beautiful outdoor light fixtures, plants and soft seating and a dining table - it’s very picturesque! The staircase leading to the upstairs is a masterpiece on its own, the whole place is way better looking in real life than the pictures. Yes is 100 percent exceptional.

Just north from the hustle and bustle from Lecce's historic, central area, this apartment is a haven of peace and quiet, and at the same time you are within easy reach of all the monuments, restaurants etc. It has its own entrance with the quirky 'scaletta'. The roof terrace is big, private, and a real asset. With fragrant jasmines flowering and other big plant containers. The apartment is spacious, very clean and decorated with care and an eye for detail. The bed is very comfy (and it is quiet at night!), Our host was waiting for us to give the keys; a very friendly and accomodating man, whom we could reach whenever we wanted. One of our best experiences when travelling!

Excellent location, in the center of everything. Apartment is spacious and cozy for my husband and I. We enjoyed our stay!

Everything good!

I picked the location because it was outside the Officine Cantelmo where I was contributing to a student course. The location is also inside the old city center with a very close walk to restaurants. The apartment has a very nice and large terrace (however a bit too cold to use during my visit in March). It was very nice to have more space than I would have had with a hotel room.

The kitchen was very well equipped with all I needed - except one minor thing. There was a basic Italian espresso pot for boiling espresso coffee, but if I should mention something here, I missed a more automatic coffee machine. I often enjoy the capsule machines I often find in hotel rooms.

The location is perfect. Clean, comfortable, and cute.
