GBGBGBWalks from the doorstep and the owner had put some recommended walks in the welcome folder. Lovely quiet location and well placed for Hadrians wall.
Shame back garden isn't completely fenced but front garden was plenty big enough for our dog.

AUThe Photos don’t do this place justice. What an exceptional place to stay. Close by to all,of the Roman historic attractions, shops, fuel etc. but far enough away to get a true sense of rural British living. The apartment is comfortable, decked out with quality fittings, furnishings and appliances. Two bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms plus an additional toilet. The fireplace and plenty of wood is a nice touch as is the ready prepared fire. The location is fabulous with lovely rural views. For all of this, the value is very good.

Nothing we didn’t love!
GBLovely property, very spacious and finished to a high standard, with incredible views of the countryside. The host is very thoughtful - blankets provided for the dog so they could sit on the sofas and they even delivered an easter egg as a surprise. There is an EV charger at the property which was very convenient, reasonably priced and easy to use, and saved us having to find an expensive public charger nearby. Both bedrooms have ensuites with a really good and powerful shower. Plenty of information provided for local walks/attractions, high chair provided as well as a selection of games for the children. TV is well served with netflix, now tv etc. Would definitely stay again.
A very minor observation only (compared to other locations we have stayed) and a coffee machine could be provided. This didn't affect our stay at all however and there was still good instant coffee provided.
GBLovely accommodation, no expense spared. Great having 2 large double bedrooms with en-suites as we were with friends. Nice out of the way location.
The location does mean you need to drive to go out & eat or drink.
