ZASuper stop on our way from Joburg to Durban. Popped into the Green Lantern on the way to the house, a beautiful country pub with lots of history. Arrived at the property late at night and managed to find it and get in with no problems. Very quaint and oldy-worldy, stunning starry sky, quiet and peaceful. Wood to make a fire.
We weren’t there for very long, it met all our needs. The upstairs bedroom is open to the sitting room so it could be noisy if you used both bedrooms and stayed for a while. But it was very cute!

The stay was disappointing overall. Several advertised amenities were not available, including a washing machine, TV, electric blankets, and a hairdryer. The kettle was also not working, and there were no pillow or mattress protectors on the bed. One of the extension cords appeared faulty and was shorting out. Arrival was frustrating, as no directions or gate code were provided. The property is poorly signposted, and the host was unreachable when I arrived, leaving me to search for the location on my own. The setting was not as expected—there was noticeable noise from the highway, and cars were visible from the property, so it did not feel like a true countryside escape. There was also no information provided about any walks or hikes on the farm. Overall, the experience did not match the listing and needs significant improvement.

GBIt was very easy to get into the property. The hosts were very responsive to the queries I had. The location is stunning. Each go the two bedrooms has a nice big double bed.
The brazilian and kitchen facilities were disappointing. The day we got there, the weather came down fast (as it does in the Berg) and it was cold and wet. It wasn't very cosy inside.

DEDie Aussicht! Es ist eine große Unterkunft für 2 Personen. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet!
Das Blechhaus ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und der Preis dafür ist stolz! Eine Renovierung wär nicht schlecht. Das Grillholz für diesen Preis, sollte im Preis dabei sein. Ich finde das ein bisschen armselig. Sorry
