The garden is amazing, tree house very nice and pool is well maintained. Anu was very helpful and gave a lot of tips about the area. We did the Elephant Safari through him, highly recommended. Good price vs other jeeps, very knowledgeable driver.

Staff has limited knowledge of English so a little difficult to communicate. But Anu always available to translate. Staff is always trying to help, and property is very clean.

In the middle of the nature, trees, graden. Nice cosy house. Very kind and helpful staff. Nice pool to relax.

If you are a nature lover this place is for you! Incredibly kind staff, great atmosphere and the bathroom outside is a romantic touch, showering under the stars is a novelty to me which I will miss in the chaos of the city

Just as advice, having some rack where one can hang the clothes would be nice :) also more than a towel, but we could have asked I’m sure they would be provided

Would highly recommend staying here . We got such a warm welcome with towels and fresh line juice . Its so quiet and tranquil a really lovely experience, but also not far from town . Anu and staff all went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We did not want to leave . We will be back

Ein wundervoller Ort. Der Garten ist traumhaft und schön gepflegt. Wir wurden herzlich mit einem Welcome Drink begrüßt. Es gibt einen tollen Pool. Wir bekamen sogar das Ivory Nest. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Außendusche (Warmwasser) ist klasse. Wir hatten die Halbpension. Das Essen war super. Es gab typisch Sri-lankanisches-Abendessen und auch das ein oder andere landestypische Gericht zum Frühstück. Das Frühstück wurde uns sogar auf der Terrasse angerichtet. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wlan hat super funktioniert. Insgesamt gibt es zwei Hütten, sodass es sehr ruhig ist und man entspannen kann. Schon vorab haben wir von Anu dem Besitzer per WhatsApp einige wichtige und hilfreiche Infos bekommen. Während unserem Aufenthalt konnten wir uns auch immer per WhatsApp austauschen. Es war ein einzigartiger Aufenthalt, der in Erinnerung bleibt. Bezahlt wird in bar. Und Service Charge ist üblich zu geben. Mit Cruz haben wir eine tolle Elephant-Safari gemacht. Fragt unbedingt nach Cruz. Er ist super freundlich und hat mega gute Augen. Er sieht sogar die kleinsten Tiere aus der Ferne und hat uns immer viel Zeit gelassen. Ansonsten haben wir uns auf eigene Faust auch noch Sigiriya und die Rocks angesehen. Besonders liebevoll haben sich die drei Ladies um uns gekümmert. Wir haben sie richtig ins Herz geschlossen und sie bleiben in Erinnerung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei Ihnen gefühlt und sie waren immer in der Nähe.

Die Nächte kann man sich wie beim Campen vorstellen. Nachts war es sehr kalt. Bestimmt kann man sonst nach einer Decke fragen. Es gibt einige Videokameras über das Gelände verteilt, was mehr der Sicherheit dient, aber auch für Kommunikationszwecke genutzt wird. Das war für uns wo alles DSGVO rechtlich geregelt ist eher ungewöhnlich und wir haben es erst nicht kapiert. Die Kommunikation über WhatsApp ist für uns auch ungewöhnlich und gerade im Urlaub legt man das Handy auch gerne mal beiseite. Aber für den Austausch ohne Rezeption natürlich praktisch. Die Lage ist außerhalb weshalb man immer ein TukTuk braucht. Wir waren zwei Nächte da. Es war für uns schon der teuerste Aufenthalt in unserer Reise. Wir wollten uns einmal dieses Baumhausfeeling gönnen.

Tantor Resort is a truly authentic place surrounded by nature, a hidden gem that deserves support. The property is very well maintained, and the staff (all ladies) are incredibly welcoming. The owner went above and beyond, helping us organize our excursions and providing his reliable drivers. The service was exceptional.

El personal fue muy atento en todo momento y estuvo pendiente de que todo estuviera bien. La comida estaba deliciosa, en especial el Kottu de huevo. La cama era muy cómoda, igual que las almohadas. Muy recomendable pasar unos días. No está lejos de la calle principal donde hay restaurantes y tiendas, aunque lo suficiente para sentirte solo rodeado de naturaleza.

Nada, la verdad es que es un lugar para estar varios días.

Hôtel magnifique au cœur d’un jardin luxuriant avec une très belle piscine. Tout était vraiment parfait. Nous avions la chambre familiale avec SDB extérieure. Les repas (petit-déjeuners et dîners) étaient vraiment délicieux. Bref un séjour reposant et un hôtel à ne pas manquer si vous êtes dans le coin
