The staff was always helpful, courteous and warm. The accommodations were very nice, and clean. Best bathroom I had in Nepal by far. The location is convenient. The included breakfast was always delicious and different each day. Options for other meals are also very good and prices are fair. Good ambience in various dining places.

The manager initially seemed to be unapproachable and perhaps discriminatory between different social classes in my large group.

The location is really good. It's located in the heart of the tourist area so it's very easy to find food, shopping and anything you need.

The air cond was preset at 30C when I arrived so it was a bit warm after I turned it on without noticing it. At first, I thought the air cond was broken until I looked at the remote again.

After pushing our joints to their absolute limits in the mountains, collapsing into the Kailash Boutique Hotel was exactly what the doctor ordered. It is tucked just far enough away from the frantic hum of Thamel to offer some genuine peace, yet close enough that you don't have to walk more than 50 meters to find a decent coffee or a stunning local stupa. The rooms are exceptionally clean, Ejaj and the rest of the staff are wonderfully accommodating, and the 1st floor terrace is the ultimate lazy sanctuary—perfect for nursing a ginger tea and watching the city pass by without having to lift a finger. It was the perfect spot to recuperate before our flight home. It's the top result! We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Kathmandu.
