Maison Muse

The hotel was fantastic! It was quit (all places at Hydra is quit) and the hotel was very close to the harbor. The cleaning was super and the personal was very supportive and helpful. We will come back to Maison Muse.

There is actually noting to write since everything was super. We thought we had a private balcony but it turned out that it was a shared balcony with all guests. This is not a big deal but we were a bit surprised.

The location, authenticity and the wonderful staff!

Bien située, l’adresse est agréable avec une chambre à l’étage. Parfait pour quelques jours, d’autant plus que Costas est absolument adorable et a toutes les infos et tuyaux utiles. Et je crois qu’il tient sincèrement à ce que chacun se sente bien et profite de son séjour. Il suffit de lui demander 😊 - La situation proche du port mais au calme. - Bien orientée, on profite bien de la lumière.

Pas aimé est trop sévère. Moins aimé est plus juste. - Équipée que de rideaux occultants, il y a peu d’intimité s’ils ne sont pas tirés. - Relativement peu d’espaces de rangement. - Pas d’espace extérieur cosy

Das ist ein Hotel mit modernen Zimmern, wirklich komfortablen Betten. Sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet. Es gibt Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine. Modernes Bad mit Regendusche. Freundliches Personal. Lage im Ort großartig, weil gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Das Zimmer ist relativ klein, wenig Platz zur Ablage. Die Kabel der Kaffeemaschine und des Wasserkochers sind zu kurz, um ohne verstellt zu werden, angesteckt zu werden. Ein Verlängerungskabel wäre hier sinnvoll, wenn man den begrenzten Platz der Ablagefläche für etwas anderes nutzen möchte. Wer montiert den Duschgelspender in der Dusche in 1,90m Höhe? Unerreichbar. Fenster und Tür öffnen sich auf eine Veranda, die den Kommunikationsraum bildet. Es schaut oft jemand zum Fenster ins Zimmer. D.h. man muss auch am hellichten Tag die dunklen Vorhänge vorziehen, um nicht den Blicken anderer Besucher oder der Reinigungskraft ausgesetzt zu sein. Fand ich nicht ideal.

Lage, Einrichtung

Problematisch: einzige Fenster gehen auf den gemeinsamen offenen Gang hinaus, was ohne Vorhang keine Privatheit erlaubt und einem entweder in das Zimmer geschaut wird oder man die dunklen Vorhänge zuziehen muss.

We had an amazing time at the hotel in Hydra. It is in a beautiful central location. Kostas was friendly and welcoming and took care in making sure we had everything for a relaxing stay.

Excellent welcoming by Mr Kostas and he was always willing to support us.

There were a few things that could be improved so as to rate our rating as an excellent one: 1) The remote for the TV did not work and we were informed after we flagged it that the previous tenants might have done something with it. 2) The AC also did not work. 3) Our room was right next to the reception and it was too loud in the morning so we woke up. Perhaps the personnel could be a bit more mindful while speaking loud or the rooms next to the reception could be more soundproofed.
