Had not appreciated that the bathroom was across the patio from the bedroom but it did work well

AUGreat view of New Zealand countryside and two minute walk to private beach.
The style of decor was retro in converted farm buildings so it is pointless comparing it with modern hotel rooms. You either love it, as we did, or you should stay in five star hotels. The cowshed was entertaining, comfortable and good value for money.
