Despite I asked the owner to double check room for cockroaches before I come, there were 3. So instead of sleeping, i was killing them all the night. Low water pressure Wifi not working Room is small and pricy Breakfast is very poor for european standard, not tasty and very small, you will stay hungry. I recommend to go eat somewhere else instead.

We had a great time at Alta Cabana in Bucana, Palawan. John Dee, the host, was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay - And we had a lot of fun together! He organized transport and mopeds for us, making everything more convenient. On our last day, he even gave us a ride to El Nido, which was much appreciated. The breakfast was tasty, especially the pancakes, and the dinner we shared with John Dee was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. He’s a really good cook! The cabanas were small but comfortable, and it was a simple yet pleasant experience and. The aircondition worked perfectly. The location is peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido town. It’s just a 5-minute moped ride to Duli Beach, which was perfect for us. We’re excited to see how John Dee’s place develops in the future and would love to come back!
