No problem with late check in

We were initially very happy with the room, stayed in the largest room which was great as it had comfy chairs and a small table which was great for watching TV, there was also a sofa so could really relax. Included was a continental breakfast which was great. Restaurant was popular and food was good

It was a great shame and we would have rated the accommodation as excellent were it not for a couple of issues (one of which could be classed as dangerous) The shower :- It was impossible to set the temperature to a suitable level (either cold or SCALDING hot), Informed the staff and someone (The Boss?) who happened to be on the premises attended within 10 minutes, Had a play around with the Temp control and sort of got it working with a promise to double check it the following day (Mon), Left a note stating that it was still going from cold to scalding with 1mm (yes 1mm) of movement on the control knob, (safety button NOT working) So obviously a faulty Shower Bar (In fact at breakfast 2 other rooms were having the same issue. NOT IMPRESSED My wife was scared to use the shower so to all intents and purpose a room without a shower. Second issue was a loud intermittent noise which sounded like an air compressor again it was only on speaking to another guest that we found out that it was in fact his extractor fan which he said was deafening when in his bathroom. Room was quite noisy from the bar below but as it shut fairly early this was not an issue for us but others may disagree.

Good value for what we paid, lovely big room and clean.comfy bed the girl in the bar when we arrived was very nice even though our room wasn't ready.

They had music blasting out after 11 pm and you could hear it really loud in our bedroom and it kept us awake .My husband did go to complain then it happened again the next night after telling them .Then at 8am in the morning it was loud again .so we definitely would not stop there again .

The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was also very good. Steak meal and Brownie desserts were lovely

Need to move the pool table away from the darts. Breakfast could have been a little better.

Supposed to be continental but it was poor. I don’t mind a continental breakfast but this was hardly it.

Hardly anything on the table. Never saw any staff, only cleaning lady. Never had anyone change towels, turn down beds, so when we left after a week the rubbish bin was overflowing
