GBFriendly staff. Lovely big cosy warm room with huge bed. Clean and spacious bathroom. Great location. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely added extra too as we were not expecting that.
The only issues were a slightly strange smell on entering the room and a very slow to drain sink. ? the source of the smell.

GBThat was the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. The bed was especially comfortable. The cooked brunch was amazing and I didn't/couldn't eat again until the evening. There was a Christmas card on the bed when I arrived. I was surprised and thought it was a lovely thoughtful touch. Staff, on the whole, were kind, pleasant and helpful. It was only a short walk to the town.
The free WiFi didn't work for me and you had to put an app onto your phone to watch the TV in the bedroom, which I couldn't do. The upstairs and downstairs didn't work on the same system either. Different passwords were required but no-one knew the one for upstairs bedrooms. The place was not very warm. However the bathroom was lovely and warm. The sat nav was good until reaching the last bit. Not good to the actual premises. However, once I found it, I knew the area and the easy direct route in and out.
GBThe breakfast was continental, the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was good with good quality towels. We slept well in a very comfortable bed. The staff were helpful we had an evening meal which was very good. The fridge on the landing was a very good idea. And the bottle opener too.
We couldn't get the internet code so couldn't watch the television. No information in the book in the room. We got back to the pub at 9.30pm just as all the staff were leaving so there wasn't anyone to ask. Once we got to the room.
