The place is big and clean and location is great. Beds are very comfortable too.

The toilet facilities can be better maintained. 2 of the toilets had problems with the showers and taps. Drainage in the common toilet is also very bad and water flow is very slow.

We had 2 apartments next door to each other which was fantastic. Great to sit on the balcony and watch what was happening on the water and promenade. The pool was fantastic! Apartment was fantastic size and easily walkable to everything. Most definitely would stay again

Just a few small things which could easily be fixed are, no hand soap on the bathroom vanity and the soap in the shower just didn’t smell nice at all.

The apartment is beautiful, with a charming old-style interior and exterior design. The river view was lovely, and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony, which feels more like a small terrace. The welcome water was a very nice (and thoughtful) touch after a long bus journey. Communication with the property management was fast and efficient. Having a washing machine was a big bonus, especially as it was already our third week in Malaysia. The location is excellent—just minutes away from all the main sights. We also really appreciated the ceiling fans. In many places in Malaysia, the AC blows directly onto the bed, but here we could turn it off at night and sleep comfortably with the fans.

The beds are not very comfortable, and after long days of walking we definitely felt it in our backs. While the master bedroom is lovely, the second bedroom feels quite uncomfortable—it has no windows and is very small, so it was hard to decide who would sleep where. On the second day, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom (there is a hole near the door). There is a washing machine but no drying rack. The apartment was not cleaned properly—toothpaste and pieces of floss in the sink were quite unpleasant to see. There is also mold in the bathroom. I had read about a strange smell from the bathroom tap in previous reviews, so it wasn’t a surprise, though I suspect it might actually come from the body wash (it has a durian-like smell). As the apartment is more suited for short stays, guests usually don’t come fully equipped, so it was inconvenient not to have hand towels or any paper towels/cloth in the kitchen to wipe surfaces.
