Very unusual and wonderfully charming place in a newly renovated very old building. The tall and enormous entrance doors, made for the time we lived among giants has a built in door for humans, when humans were 4 feet tall. The apartment is full of fascinating details from the past to be discovered by future visitors. Parking is a challenge but absolutely doable. It’s located in the old district, unfortunately with many buildings badly in need of repair and restoration. Close to good restaurants, especially seafood. I will remember this place though Taranto is not a very interesting place for any extended stay. The host is a lovely and very helpful lady.

Taranto is a very special place, in which we lived beautiful moments. We want to thank you for having us and for the small attentions you gave us. The home is very out of the ordinary which brings the past in the present. From Romania, Florinela and Emilia

-Good location in the old town. -Big apartment, with everything you need. - The host (Rosallia) was extremely helpful, she gave us info about the town, the food, the must sees and everything.

We got our heads on the pretty arches!

I'd made a mistake and told the host we were arriving at 3:00am rather than 3pm. She took it her stride and made arrangements to leave a key out. A very warm and genuine welcome.

Hmm - only remotely negative thing would be that parking near the apartment can be complicated - but a short walk away it was fine. Nothing that the host can do about that.
