This is was the most amazing place I've ever stayed at My family and I enjoyed it so much that we did not want to leave Location is amazing Apartment is spotless and so comfy The hosts are the most wonderful people My kids woke up so sad on our checkout day We will definitely be staying here again Everything is perfect about this place

Literally the ONLY thing that was good about the entire holiday experience was Charne and Lance who I presume are the guesthouses managers . They were sincere with their apologies and tried their best to assist us with our MANY MANY issues we encountered.

Everything! The trip started off bad from the beginning , the garage assistance could not find our key as we were not aware of the agency we booked through and assumed that booking.com was the booking agency When we arrived at the house we were welcomed by roaches and ants which we had to spend money out of our own pockets to get rid off . The guest house has 3 stories of steep curved stairs which was not in the pictures or guesthouse description ( bare in mind we have a toddler and an elderly relative on the trip ) A few hours into our trip we had loadshedding , and yes I am aware that the schedule was not in their hands, HOWEVER , we hadn't had a single loadshedding light to use . Other units had generators whilst we were in darkness . We paid R200 for electricity and barely had lights the entire trip . The guest house was equipped with gas stoves , but to our dismay we had no gas to cook ( gas that we had paid for ) We are now without lights or gas We could not cook , and the only reason we booked this guesthouse was that it was self catering so we could cook . When we called to enquire about the gas we were told that the hardware store had no delivery guys and we had to now use our petrol to go fetch gas We agreed to travel to mica and when we arrived.. the place was closed ! We spent the whole trip without gas to cook on the stove With no gas we decided to use the electric kettle when the lights were back And guess what?! It didn't work! We needed to iron and guess what??? No iron! When we enquired about the iron we were rudely told that we should keep looking because an iron is not hard to find ! We searched every inch of that place and there was nothing Our fridge did not cool and left everything warm There was so much wrong , so much disappointment And we paid around R7000 for 2 nights including or breakage deposit to stay in a place with no lights , backup lights , gas , proper working stove , kettle or iron . Absolutely unacceptable
