We enjoyed our one-night stay in this modest but comfortable guesthouse located 46kms north of Tana Bru in a peaceful environment. It is owned by the lovely Esther Utsi, a Sami woman, who purchased the former nursing home in a drive to expand the number of Sami enterprises in the area. Esther is an excellent cook and we can highly recommend pre-ordering an evening meal - fish or meat - for an extra charge. Our dish of reindeer with vegetables was fantastic. The caretakers, Minu and Sanchu, are charming and helpful and even insisted on carrying our bags.

The establishment would benefit from some maintenance and refurbishment as it is looking a little worn and tired. The breakfast is OK but could be improved. Extra pillows would be helpful All-day tea and coffee making facilities would be great, too.

The staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Location was good. They also offer Ayurvedic massage and that was a great experience.

Bed wasnt very comfortable for a couple and for my taste it was too soft. The rooms are quite old and therefore a little bit stuffy.
