Blackpool Central Beach Apartments

Clean and good location

It wasn’t made clear on the accommodation advertisement that people had to walk through our flat corridor to get to the above flat. When I asked the owner about this he got defensive saying it was advertised but it wasn’t. The accomodation is advertised as a private flat but we had people walking through to get to their flat. Very disappointed with this and the response I got when querying it . There was also a leak in the flat with a bucket under it to catch water and the walls in one of the bedrooms requires re plastering and is covered by a blind on the wall where there is no window. The flat overall is outdated but clean

The location was very central, very clean, the apartment was very spacious and homily. Don was very helpful with few questions before we came and when we was there, I would definitely recommend this apartment, has we will be using it again.

I liked how close it was to everything

I didn't like how they told us their was free parking and there wasn't and they told us we could park outside to drop off our bags but it was on dubble yellow lines. We was on the ground floor with anther family that was walking through to get to their upstairs apartment. But we was told there was just one man that lived upstairs that was not there 99%off the time. One bedroom had no window so was really stuffy, and the other had a telly that you couldn't plug in anywhere.

Great location

The property is overall in need of general repair and upkeep. The outside is peeling paint and beside an amusement arcade which has bingo on during day, thankfully it stops around 21:00. Internally, is let down with poor repair / decor and because of this gives a bad overall impression. Several holes in walls in bedrooms and shower room, the shower room light switch is connected with string of vertical blinds.

I did like to be close to the attractions and to the beach, piers. I liked the kitchen and dining space and 2 toilets access. It was nice and clean with white fresh linen and towels what is very important to me.

Didn't like the messy streets and loudness from the clubs nearby. I didn't like the fact that someone was able to go through our corridor to access their room as it made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

The location was brilliant. The communication was really good, thorough and polite. The apartment was very clean. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk. Good TV facilities and really nice bedding.

We were unable to close the window or turn on the heating in one of the bedrooms. Luckily the heavy curtains meant the room stayed fairly warm. The apartment downstairs was open plan so we couldn't really avoid walking past other guests in their living room on our way in/out of the building.

Clean , warm , nicely presented, homely feel in the rooms.

The listing on booking.com doesn’t make it aware that it is not a self contained property, the front entrance and hallway leading to the upstairs apartment are shared, so for example , the residents upstairs can walk through your hallway at any time. There are locks on the doors (Lounge and the 2 bedrooms, not the kitchen and bathroom) this is not ideal for a family with young children such as ourselves, as our children like their bedroom door open, and the only other option to keep them seperate from the residents upstairs walking past their bedroom was to lock the door with the children inside, we weren’t aware of this on booking. This apartment was beautifully clean and well maintained, but more suited to two couples or friends staying , not a family.
