Lovely clean spacious room Nice touch with sweets on bed, iron, fridge, haridryer etc Bed abit squeaky as was metal framed but no issue as only there for one night, but could do with investing in better bed frame.

Nice, clean and comfortable. Lovely room.

Bit worried about my vehicle in public carpark round the back.

Location was perfect for a work day in Seaham. Close to the train station and bus stop. Decent sized room and warm with all facilities needed. Access was easy. Choice of restaurants nearby. I picked the friendly Italian.

Only 2 slight things it’s above a restaurant so food smell and noise and it’s self check-in which is great and very smooth but as a sea glass collector going on the beach would love an early check in option or somewhere to leave bags/case so didn’t have to take everything to the beach with me

The personal and homely touches and also the room was very well equipped which made the stay very comfortable.

My only criticism would be the noise from the restaurant cooling system which was a constant droan nightly until they closed however it ceased at a reasonable hour and was very quiet after.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and it was lovely to sit and look out the window at the sea. Even better that Costa was just across the road and all the little extras added to the room were lovely We also visited the local coalface pub which we seen in the welcome book, a great pub, which was buzzing with people the lady behind the bar was so helpful. We also used the recommendation from the booklet to go to the Indian restaurant downstairs from the hotel and it was very nice.

There was a lot of light coming through the side of the blinds from the main outside hotel lights there was curtains which helped a little and there was also light coming from under the door from the passage so it did light up the room when trying to sleep. My only other thing was there was a crack in the sink which was sharp to touch.
