The space was really big. Parking right at the door. Refurbished bathroom. Great heating. Very comfortable bed. I think the previous review was a bit harsh. It’s an apartment attached to an old home. Whilst it was admittedly a bit musty smelling, it certainly wasn’t dirty. I think that when the renovations are complete and the kitchen is done it will be a great place to stay for longer than one night.

Whilst it was beautiful in the day time, the fact that most of the ceiling is glass, it’s not really practical for a sleeping space. Luckily for me I had a sleep mask, which while uncomfortable meant I was t woken at dawn. Unfortunately, my poor husband did not have one.

The bed was comfortable and bathroom was beautiful having been refurbished.

I did not like the musty smell, the faded curtains and smell, the unbearable heat in the room and I wasn't able to work out how to turn it off when the owner told me over the phone. I had no kitchen so to speak no cooking utilities and no kitchen sink for to cook the breakfast and the eggs they offered for £10 extra. I was very disappointed. The kitchen was in the middle of a renovation and it was dusty like so bad. The living room in the pictures look so good but the reality is that it's so old and dusty like why it could not have been dusted is beyond me. The old furniture has beauty but so dirty and I have evidence in photos of the lampshade stuck together with duck tape. I was too upset with it all having felt deceived by the advertising on booking.com. I left after the first night. I sadly left my favourite pillow behind in my haste to leave. I would fight for a refund if I had any fight left in me. I didn't go and complain to the owner as she was aware of the fact she couldn't offer me the eggs for the breakfast because as she said there is no hob for you to cook on. I paid £134 for 2 nights stayed one but learnt a good lesson. From now on if you arrive and it's not as advertised get out and don't stay just because you feel you can't speak up for yourself. Spoiled my last couple of days. I totally do not recommend it. I am sure if the renovations are completed and the house is throughly cleaned it could be a beautiful place. Until then I would avoid like covid...

No iron place looked like a building site,,a won't be bk and the breakfast that was a joke,,

Fantastic place and really good service! Could sleep good knowing that my motorcycle was kept safe!
