Good location and clean once you climbed the 56 stairs to the room

Entrance and stairs were not clean.

I understand that this is not one but different apartments in different locations but we were lucky to live in Victory view that has just prefect location, very near Spar and bus station. The apartment is equipped with everything that makes even long stay comfortable.

There felt like a basement, with only one window and wet smell. It didn't bother us a lot though.

The apartment is very conveniently located in the center of Valletta. It’s cozy and has character.

For me the biggest problem was the noise from the street. Another issue was that the shower was not hot. It was not cold but about room temperature. It’s weird because the hot water in the kitchen downstairs was extremely hot.

Beautiful self catering studio apartment facing the sea. Spacious walk-in shower room, a very large lounge with all thats needed, lovely kitchen though I only used the fridge kettle and toaster. Fan in the bedroom was very much needed huge comfortable bed I had no problems falling to sleep. An absolute pleasure to of stayed in this beautiful apartment. When I visit malta again I would definitely use vallettastay again.

The thing that made up for everything was the location. It's perfect! Facilities like the kitchen and bathroom were great and it was quite spacious. The owners did their best to provide us with as much information as they could on information leaflets and some nice coupons that we unfortunately didn't get to use. We loved the typical Maltese features and the height.

BE AWARE OF COCKROACHES. I haven't slept for 3 out of 4 nights because there was a cockroach slipping underneath the door to the bedroom from the courtyard. (Bedroom is ground floor, everything else basement level). It happens quicker because it's a basement and doesn't always have something to do with cleanliness. The problem is that I've gotten multiple messages with information from the facility every day before our arrival and a reply if I had questions after only a few minutes or max a couple of hours. This time when I had complained they didn't reply until 2 days later, our last day. Their solution was to spray, which they did, but the cockroach was back that same night in the courtyard anyway. No windows and a bad smell of mould/humidity. The ACs made both a bit better but if we'd switch them off during the day it would unbearable when you'd enter again, especially the smell. There were also a lot of drainage flies. Construction noises on the floors above starting at 7 in the morning and running/stomping upstairs neighbours that would start at 6 in the morning. Maybe it's my problem that I'm a light sleeper, but if you're one like then don't rent this place. Will not book again and definitely paid too much :(
