"All I needed was a quiet night's sleep before my morning flight, but the street noise and the smell"

The only things I liked about the hotel were the bed, the clean linens, and the fact that the staff gave me a wake-up call exactly as promised.

I didn't like the smell; there was a musty odor in the room, and the furniture was dusty. I couldn't open the curtains because the windows were very dirty and dusty. Also, one of the windows was broken, which let in all the street noise. I prefer not to have the curtains drawn, but I couldn't open them because of the dirt and the noise from the broken window.
