Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet, ein toller Garten mit wunderschönem Pool. Die Bilder geben einen sehr guten und realistischen Eindruck wie schön diese Unterkunft ist. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut, dieser war auch außerordentlich hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Besonders gefreut hat uns auch der Willkommensgruß in Form von einigen Leckereien, damit hatten wir gar nicht gerechnet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig in einem kleinen Dörfchen mit schönem Ausblick.

Hier gibt es wenn dann nur Kleinigkeiten zu erwähnen, wie z.B. das Fehlen einer Spülmaschine und die Küche könnte ein paar mehr Utensilien vertragen wie z.B. eine Salatschüssel oder mehr Kochbesteck. Das wäre ganz hilfreich für die Selbstversorgung, aber das sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten.

The swimming pool was excellent and the bedrooms were a good size. I could swim short lengths in the pool and everyone liked floating on their inflatables too. Manos, the owner was very quick to help out and sociable too. He advised us of a good kebab shop in Castelli and sorted any problems we had out really quickly. The cooking facilities allowed us to prepare some decent meals and the gas barbecue meant we were able to successfully cook out as well. The seating area by the pool allowed for card games, meals and general chit chat, which suited us well. And there's a spartan, but very friendly winery up the road and the local olive trees are full of wildlife: pine martens, raptors and cicada.

The village setting was good in many ways but we were a little further away from shops and so on than we would have liked. A car is a must to explore the area and if the roadworks are finished effectively then travelling around the area will get a lot quicker. It wasn't entirely clear where we were to park on the first night and even when we'd sorted this out we found it easier to park at the end of the lane than in the car park space provided. The lane is very tight and in a left hand drive car, reversing was a bit of a challenge! However, to be clear, this was not an issue for us as the car was safe where it was, but is worth noting if you intend to drive. We had a great week at Marianna and I would like to bring the garden home with me! Thanks Manos and good luck.

The property was beautifully decorated to the highest standard and the owner has thought of every little detail. On arrival we were met with an array of wines, fresh fruit, cheeses, cold drinks and more. The outside area was fantastic and where we spent most of our time. The pool was clean and the temperature was perfect to cool you down. We loved the traditional bbq and used it most nights.
