The location is very peaceful. There are no lights, there is no traffic noise, nothing to disturb your sleep! To my shame I speak no Italian, Marika's English is perfect however, so there were no problems there. Breakfast is enormous and there is endless choice. This property really IS dog friendly - not just somewhere you can take your dog (as so many places are) This is dog friendly, dog suitable and dog welcoming. Resident dog, Bimba, is a beautiful natured little dog who played with our dog all the time we were eating breakfast, loading the car, etc. affording us an easy start to a long day, and actually making a long drive much easier, as our dog was worn out and slept for ages on the journey! This is definitely somewhere to return to. We only stayed one night, longer would have been lovely.

Our dog was frightened of the stairs and needed to be carried up to our room and back down again. At 32kgs that is not fun for a man with a hernia. It may be because the stairs are black or because the banister and rail are see through. It may just be that our dog is a wimp regarding stairs.
