The views

The views from this property are absolutely stunning and were the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to the premium price tag of over $1,000 + per night. Communication was poor throughout. The spa pool was unavailable on our first night because it had been drained and refilled due to the previous visitors, when we queried this we were told we should have specifically requested it be heated before arrival. There was nothing in the booking information or house rules advising guests that this was required so be aware. For a three-night stay, only one towel per guest was provided with no extra towels or linen available. No sheets, warm blankets or anything. The heating doesn’t work in two of the bathrooms and wall heaters kept turning off leaving the bedrooms very cold overnight. The toilet door downstairs is completely broken so no privacy available for the bottom three rooms. Basic amenities such as milk or welcome back were also not supplied, which was disappointing given the cost of the accommodation. The driveway is very steep for drivers that are not confident be aware and it is three levels with no use of the lift and it’s quite a hike to the top for anyone especially with luggage, elderly people will find it particularly challenging. Overall, while the location and views are exceptional, the lack of communication, unavailable spa pool, and limited guest amenities meant the experience did not represent good value for the price paid.

Everything is close to everywhere we wanted to go

Location was convenient, short trip downtown. Heated floors and towel bars in bathrooms were awesome. Loved the huge tub.

Difficulty figuring out the fireplace.

View Size of bedrooms & lounge Well appointed ( need a couple of bowls) Provided the little things such as salt, pepper coffee pods, dishwasher powder, laundry powder. Excellent for short stays.

NO OUTDOOR FURNITURE AS PER PHOTO, HARD BEDS, SEATING FOR ONLY 4 PEOPLE ONB THE LOUNGE WHEN THE PROPERTY CAN ACCOMODATE 8 PEOPLE

Loved the magnificent views and fantastic location to town. The property had everything we could ask for and in lovely condition

The tile cracking under a guests foot was the only dampener on the whole stay very minimal negative.

Beautiful views, very spacious and comfortable. Warm, modern and fully equipped. Host was fantastic and responsive

Just the stairs, 3 stories and it had an elevator that would have been handy for luggage if it was in use.
