Jackal Buzzard Mountain Haven

Onze host waren absolute lieverds. Ze ontfermden zich meteen als grootouders over onze 1 jarige. We konden bij aankomt meteen bij ze in de keuken aanschuiven voor diner (van te voren aangevraagd). Je wordt voor een moment helemaal opgenomen in het huis! Goede gesprekken en een fantastiche kamer met uitzicht. Bedden waren heerlijk.

De reis er naar toe is een uitdaging. Een lage auto is niet erg aan te raden. Met een gemiddelde SUV prima te doen. Het huis is volledig off-grid, daarom was het warme water op het moment van ons verblijf schaars.

Excellent service

The service was outstanding. Fransis was very welcoming We even checked in before time due to scheduling. The breakfast was amazing. The view in the morning is phenomenal . Thank you for welcoming us into your home May God continue to bless you.

Location was great, surrounded by nature at the mountain top. Our host Frances was friendly and her dog too 😊 Breakfast was homely and my boys enjoyed it. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The road is an off road. Solar electricity

We stayed at Jackal Buzzard Mountain Haven while photographing a wedding nearby, and it was such an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating - we were able to check in early, arrive late, and still woke up to a full breakfast and lovely conversation the next morning. The directions and communication were super clear and easy to follow, which made finding the farm a breeze. On the drive in, we even spotted some rare wildlife - such a cool experience! The view is absolutely stunning, and even though they’re currently expanding, the space still felt calm, cozy, clean and exceptionally well looked after. The lovely hosts, their friendly animals, and the relaxed atmosphere make it feel more like visiting family than staying at a guesthouse. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful spot with great hosts and a bit of wild magic thrown in. This is the only place in Nelspruit I will book at from now on.

I didn't like how short our stay was, wish we could have been there for longer!
