Delightful Family Getaway Cornwall

Lovely big house with plenty of room for everyone.

Only 1 bathroom.

Nice place in a lovely area but one to avoid. No coffee making facilities and the place stunk of fish which were unfortunate but the real story is it’s run by a lettings management company in London. It’s all about the money, the terms, the conditions, the overbearing rules and the profit. We’ve visited the area for years so know it well. £300 security deposit (!?!) and you don’t get it back for two weeks after you leave (!)… money for the dog… £160 cleaning fee (really!?!)…. It’s all about your money in their pocket. Visit Mawnan but stay elsewhere, so sad.

It was very clean and beautifully renovated

Very cheap nasty towels but I have shared with them and hopefully they will sort out ! There was a smell of damp in the kitchen and lounge Was very hard to find so have suggested better instructions as we arrived in the dark and had to stop to ask at one of the houses!

Location, history, facilities, soft fluffy towels and comfortable beds

Property needs a hairdryer and a cafetière otherwise perfect
