MaVitaPlace Villa Familia, Pool & Jacuzzi-Whirlpool, Katerini

Everything was perfect during our stay at the Villa Familia. We arrived by train from Athens late September, it was cool, quiet, and very peaceful. Yanni the host hooked us up with some late night gyros as we were starving. The morning view of Mt Olympus is literally jaw dropping. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio having coffee with Ira, she’s the cutest little doggy. The hosts left us gifts of olive oil they produced, it’s the best olive oil we’ve ever had! And at night the jacuzzi was the place to be, also the best jacuzzi I’ve ever been in and Yanni keeps it so clean. His hospitality was probably the greatest part of our Greece trip, Thank you 🙏 Yanni

Sehr nette Begrüßung und zu jedem Moment verfügbarer Ansprechpartner, der mit guten Tipps weiterhilft. Moderne und sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Zimmer sind geräumig. 2 getrennte WC’s. Schöne Dusche. Ruhige Anlage zwar etwas abseits gelegen, aber gut zu erreichen.

Es wäre nicht schlecht wenn noch mindestens 1 Schlafzimmer klimatisiert wäre, das Klimagerät im Wohnzimmer funktioniert richtig gut, aber wenn es sehr heiss wird sind die Temperaturen in den Schafzummern recht hoch und der Deckenventilator schafft die Temperatur nicht runterzufahren.

We recently stayed at a splendid villa in Katerini, and it exceeded all our expectations! The villa has an amazing backyard where our kids had a blast playing. The big porch with a dining table and comfy sofas was just perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking view of Mount Olympus right in front of us. The villa is incredibly spacious, with a large living area that includes a kitchen, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. It’s furnished in a modern style but still feels cozy and home-like. The attention to detail is fantastic—there are plenty of wall outlets, and it has absolutely everything you need, including a washing machine and modern appliances, all in great condition. As a family of five, we had the best time here. There’s a convenient parking spot right next to the villa inside the yard. While the Wi-Fi was quite poor, we didn’t really need it—we embraced the opportunity to unplug and enjoy quality family time without social media distractions. A delightful surprise was the beautiful and friendly dog that roams the yard. The hosts care for him, and he’s incredibly calm and a joy to have around. Speaking of the hosts, they live in the neighboring villa but give you complete privacy. We never felt intruded upon; it truly felt like our own home away from home. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and were disappointed we couldn't stay longer. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended for families seeking comfort, beauty, and relaxation.

The Wi-Fi speed is a maximum of 1 megabyte per second and frequently drops the connection. This wasn’t a problem for me, but I wanted to mention it for anyone who might rely on a stable internet connection.
