Hartebeespoort Upmarket Pond Villa

The property itself was beautiful. The placement of the balcony is in a unique place in front of the pond. There was also inquisitive monkeys who were playing with eachother which was a real treat to watch. The host was accommodative to day visitors, for Sunday lunch which was good. There was ample living space, which was ideal for a large family. Indoor and outdoor braai area was great.

The cooking facilities( I.e pot lids and some utensils) were dirty. The tv didn’t work well which was abit disappointing( sound was muffled, dstv wasn’t paid and needed to buy an HDMI cable to connect the laptop to the TV, in order to entertain the pensioners in our group) as we were not allowed to play music as per the rules and regulations. The air conditioners were not user friendly. I received complaints from both my mom and grandmother regarding the shower heads indicating that the water did not flow freely, due to mildew/blocked shower head. There was a decimal meter on the property as a noise regulator device, which us uncomfortable in regards to general noise( laughing, talking etc) however our general noise did not trigger anything the first night which made the rest of our stay more pleasant.

I liked everything, the Villa and most especially the view by the pool area.

Excellent location, central and easy access to explore Harties. The house is in a very safe and secure neighborhood, We were 2 families total 8 and the house comfortably accomodated us, the house was fully equiplled with all applicances, washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, big fridge, TV with DSTV subscription, all cutlery, Braai facilities etc.. Andre and Margret were great hosts.

Aircons were not workign in 2/4 rooms. No housekeeping during 4 days of stay. All appliances are provided for self service.
