Villa Horizonte is fantastic, a jewel, a diamond, one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at and I’ve been to over 35 countries; the best part of our stay in Taormina, a place that brought me so much joy and peace and one that felt like my second home. The location is absolutely stunning and the views are breathtaking with a wrap around balcony. There was nothing better than waking up in the morning to that view. The villa was modern, clean, spotless, offered a fully stocked kitchen with a welcome champagne and water, our own slippers, fresh towels, washing machine… everything you can ask for in terms of accommodations. It’s a 5 min walk to city center, maybe even less so it’s super close to everything but since it’s nestled above the city, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Ily, our host, was one of the best hosts I have ever had the pleasure to meet and honestly probably one of the nicest people I have ever met. She made the most delicious breakfast for us with croissants and eggs and pancakes, fruit, and helped us from everything from recommendations to booking an airport transfer and even brought a doctor to the house when my daughter had a bad cough and needed to see someone fast. She was so attentive to everything and made sure we were happy every moment of our stay. She knows everyone and can help make reservations for you, book boat trips and even cooking classes, just ask her. I consider Ily a friend now and one of the reasons why it’s not a matter of IF, it’s a matter of WHEN we will go back to Taormina! We will always stay at Villa Horizonte. I take with me some of my best moments and will cherish them forever. Ily, THANK YOU for being such an amazing host and person, we will be back soon!! :)

We had an incredible experience at this villa. The property itself was beautiful – spacious, spotless, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing stay. What really made our trip exceptional, though, was the host. Ily was truly fantastic – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From great local recommendations to organising taxis, to quick responses whenever we had a question, she went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely return. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Nothing - it was all perfect!

The views were awesome - fantastic. The private pool was beautiful - particularly at the end of the day. Most importantly, the service from the host was fantastic - Made a beautiful breakfast each morning and even drove us to the doctor and waited when our daughter had a sore ear.

The location is amazing - the nicer calmer side of town and walks away from the centre but still quiet. The view unbeatable and the host, Ily, so lovely! She did everything to make the stay incredibly comfortable for us.

The property is down a bit of a steep hill. It’s not hard or unpleasant to walk up or down but was difficult for us with a baby. Ily helped us with a few lifts for our little one so wasn’t too much of a problem but worth noting if you’re hiring a car to get a small fiat 500 or similar (not a Jeep Renegade).
