Palazzo Giustiniani L'Ambasciatore

Geweldige locatie in een typisch Italiaans dorp, weg van het massatoerisme maar toch perfecte uitvalsbasis om het authentieke Puglia te verkennen. Al wandelend naar Galatina, fietsen in het achterland van Ontranto, stadsbezoek Lecce, ..... Heel mooie palazzo met alle voorzieningen, inclusief zwembad. Een aanrader, de foto's zeggen alles ! Geweldige host die ons heeft geholpen om alles tot in de puntjes voor te bereiden. We komen zeker nog eens terug.

Todo fue absolutamente fantástico! La propiedad es impresionante, un delicado balance entre el refinamiento del palazzo y la comodidad de un hogar. Los espacios son enormes, elegantemente decorados y confortables. Los cuartos están muy bien distribuidos; el living, el bar y las terrazas (sí, plural) son excelentes para armar comidas, compartir con la familia y recibir invitados. Quiero destacar en especial la calidez, atención y servicio de Angélica, la chef que preparó nuestra primera cena al arribar y cada uno de los desayunos. Eso merece un capítulo aparte, levantarse con el aroma a cafe, la pastelería caliente (mención especial los croissants de pistacho y crema pastelera), el jugo recién exprimido y la fruta fresca te hacían sentir verdaderamente en un palacio. La ubicación es confortable, equidistante a todos los puntos turísticos de Salento, llegando a las mejores playas en aproximadamente 20-40 minutos. Por último, un gran gracias a Barbara, la dueña y host, cuya generosidad y buen gusto hicieron de esta una estadía excepcional. Lo recomiendo especialmente para grupos de amigos y familias grandes.

We had an unforgettable stay at Palazzo Giustiniani to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect! From the very beginning, Barbara took incredible care in helping us organize the event—her attention to detail and warm hospitality made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. The food prepared by Angelica was simply outstanding: fresh, delicious, and of the highest quality. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, making our celebration even more special. The villa itself is stunning—elegant, spacious, and full of charm. Both adults and children loved the beautiful atmosphere, especially the pool and the generous outdoor spaces. It was the perfect setting for relaxation and celebration alike. We can’t thank Barbara and Angelica enough for making this occasion so memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical and well-cared-for place to stay!

The palazzo was well designed and furnished to a high standard. The rooms were comfortable and the outside space was amazing. I really liked the way modern convenience mixed with the old to provide a restful,relaxing holiday experience unlike any other I have previously known.

Palazzo Giustiniani is one of the most magical places I have ever encountered! The place is just heavenly. From the historical grounds to the tasteful refurbishment by the owners, everything speaks of quality and attention to detail. Barbara has gone out of her way to look after us and she's been one of the best hosts ever. The breakfast on offer is top notch. The pool and gardens are super peaceful and airy. The location is right next to everything you might need. A one of a kind experience that will stay with you forever, don't miss on this one
